SYPH-Check-1®
SYPH-Check-1® is a rapid immunoassay for the specific detection of antibodies directed against syphilis infectious agent.
The spirochete Treponema Pallidum (TP) is the infectious vector that causes syphilis. Infection is usually acquired via sexual contact, or maybe transmitted via contaminated blood transfusion.
The antibodies directed against TP can be detected in 10 minutes using only a drop of blood.
When should the immunoassay be performed?
The test should be performed with the appearance of clinical symptoms such as chancres and specific rash. The test can be performed at any time of the day.
