PYLORI-Screen ®
PYLORI-Screen ® is a rapid and specific immunoassay that can detect circulating antibodies directed against Helicobacter pylori bacterium. This bacterium colonizes the stomach and intestine folds and can cause chronic gastritis, that can progress into ulcers and/or cancers. With PYLORI-Screen ®, it is possible to know whether the subject has been in contact with this bacterium. Antibody screening is completed within 10 minutes with only one blood drop.
When should the immunoassay be performed?
The test can be performed at any time when one or several of these signs are present:
- Repeated stomach or intestine pains
- Stomach pains
- Acid reflux
